Installation of Alvifence safety fence on wood

Here we show you the simple steps to install the Alvifence pool safety fence on wood

ASSEMBLY ON WOOD

FENCE INSTALLATION FOR HOUSES OR PRIVATE VILLAS

    PLAN

Plan your installation, measure and mark the layout on the ground where you are going to place the fence, marking the position of each post with an X.

  • Alvifence pool safety fence

    LAYOUT

Leave a gap of 1 metre between the posts in the same section and 6 centimetres between the last post in one section and the first in the next one (all measurements take the centre of the post as a reference)

To install at an angle it is necessary to coincide the end of the section with the beginning of another, so in each corner we will always have 2 posts.

    DRILL

Once you have everything ready start drilling (use a 20 mm diameter drill for the 16 mm fence and 35 mm for the 30 mm fence). Make each hole through the wood and drill the concrete floor underneath it 7 cm down. When doing so, remember to tilt the posts at the ends of each section slightly outwards to achieve perfect tension.

    FILLING

Insert a hollow rod down to the bottom of each hole in the concrete and cut them flush with the wood (20 mm for the 16 mm fence and 35 mm for the 30 mm fence). Fill each hole with resin or chemical anchor, insert the Alvifence plastic sleeves and let them dry.

    ASSEMBLY

Assemble the fence section by section, making sure everything fits together correctly.

    LATCHES

Place the safety latches to join the sections using the hole left by the second screw at the top.

    TENSION

If necessary, adjust the tension of the fence by correcting the length of the mesh in each section:

Remove the screws holding the metal plate from the post and remove it.

Cut off the remaining part of the mesh, fold the end and screw the metal plate back on.

    ACCESS

Facilitates entry by installing an Alvifence safety gate or access the pool through a meeting point between two sections: bring the two posts together and open the safety latch.

    PLAN

Plan your installation by choosing the most common access area to your pool for your gate, measure and mark the layout of your safety fence on the ground.

We recommend that for best results you should not install the gate on a corner or angle.

    DOUBLE POSTS

Remember that the gate has a double-post structure on both sides to ensure better safety, which means that a total of four holes will be required.

  • Alvifence pool safety fence

    LAYOUT

Leave a gap of 6 cm between the last fence post and the first gate post, 8.5 cm between the double posts and an 83 cm space for the gate between the internal posts.

    DRILL

Once you have everything ready start drilling (use a 20 mm diameter drill for the 16 mm fence and 35 mm for the 30 mm fence). Make each hole through the wood and drill the concrete floor underneath it 7 cm down. Fill each rod with resin or chemical anchor, insert the Alvifence plastic sleeves and let them dry.
